Home Furnishings – Corporate Housing Solutions For International Transfers! (Part 2 of 3)

  1. Move-in Preparations: Detailed Measurements

With the housing contracts finalized and leasing budgets approved by the corporate HR, our staff moved on to coordinating the finer details of the furnishing lease.

Earlier this month, a representative from the leasing service was dispatched to take detailed measurements of the housing unit to ensure perfectly-sized curtains and sufficient floorspace for intended furniture. (After all, there are perhaps few things more frustrating during moving than having furniture delivered only to find that it won’t fit through a door frame.)

  1. Housing & Furnishings Fully Coordinated Prior to Arrival

Once all lease terms are fully confirmed and approved, delivery and setup will be locked in for the move-in date.

Moving services will be provided to transport company-leased furnishings both at the times of move-in and move-out, or from the previous corporate housing unit to the new location.  Furniture will be fully assembled and set in place, and appliances will be installed and confirmed for functionality.

And of course, bilingual staff from FREA will remain onsite during the move-in process to ensure everything is handled smoothly.

  1. The Big Move-In Day

With all preparations in place, it’s finally time for the client’s arrival to Japan and same-day move-in!

In our third and final article on FREA’s corporate housing process, we’ll share the detailed move-in timetable (complete with real photos) for the incoming staff transfer we’ve been following.
