7 Noteworthy Coworking Spaces in Silicon Valley (SF Bay Area)
PART 2: Greater SF Bay Area
Previously, in the first half of our compilation of top Silicon Valley coworking spaces, we focused on offices based in San Francisco itself. But Silicon Valley actually encompasses a much larger overall region, with areas often differing significantly from the urban city vibes of SF. Here are 3 more noteworthy coworking spaces, this time located elsewhere in the Bay Area.
Sandbox Suites (SF, Berkeley, & Palo Alto)
Although originating in San Francisco itself, Sandbox Suites also has two other locations—Berkeley and Palo Alto—making it the only featured coworking space in this article to span both the South and East Bay areas. Sandbox Suites is also famed for originally housing major startup success giant Airbnb.
Like the other coworking spaces we have spotlighted Sandbox Suites offers a variety of pricing options to suit each entrepreneurs budget and sizing needs. Most notably, they are one of the only coworking spaces in the area to actively reach out to foreign entrepreneurs—Sandbox Suites offers support in obtaining the applicable business visa as well as securing necessary office space.
HanaHaus (Palo Alto)
Previously featured on our Facebook page, HanaHaus is a unique shared office space in a historical theater building located in downtown Palo Alto, where a large number of venture capital investment firms are based. Multiple private and semi-private meeting rooms are available for reservation, with innovative features like writeable wall surfaces,
Pricing options are also impressively affordable and flexible, with a membership-free, pay-per-hour system and additional open seating areas by the attached café. Like many other highly rated workspaces, HanaHaus frequently hosts outside events in evenings and features a popular local coffee chain (in this case Blue Bottle).
